Industrial Microbiology and Zoology is a double major course that involves different aspects of Medical Microbiology, Agricultural Microbiology, Food& Dairy Microbiology,  ,Industrial Microbiology , Marine &Fishery Microbiology, Fermentation Technology, Dairy Technology and Food Processing and packaging Technology.On the Job Training Programme is offered to students, which helps to acquire new competencies and skills needed for a job. After completing this course students can apply for various job opportunities in different sectors such as  Medical laboratory scientist and Microbiologist in hospitals, Chemist and Microbiologist in pharmaceutical companies, Quality Controller, and Food safety officer in Food, Water, Beverages, Dairy, and Meat industries, etc.
